SERVICE TIP

Check your Tire Pressure

Tire pressures are one of the most important things to check on your scooter.

Under-inflation can cause the tire to lose traction, with a loss of control.

Under-inflated tyres cause your scooter to use more fuel and tires wear out prematurely.

You only have two tires that give you a few inches of rubber on the road. Get in the habit of looking at your tires before you set off.

SERVICE TIP
Check your Oil
2 Stroke Engines

Two-stroke oil should be checked weekly. On average, two-stroke engines will use about 1 litre per 1,000 kilometres.

If your oil warning light comes on, you have to fill the oil reservoir.

If you don’t refill the oil reservoir promptly it can damage your engine.

Always use two-stroke motorcycle oil, never outboard motor or lawnmower oil.
